Oct. 16, 2010 - Saturday

We left the RV park around noon on the search for food and a Wal-Mart. (Already I sense a theme!)  We were excited to find a Long John Silver's with an A&W.  Sam had a sampler plate and I had lobsterbites with a piece of fish.  the lobsterbites made me think of Oma and Opa - we first had them on our trip together!  After eating we drove through Stauton, VA and found the historic district. We took the scenic tour through town.  One of the sights was Woodrow Wilson's Presidential Library.

Using the "force" we found Wal-Mart.  We need to pick up food and I wanted more socks.  I was tired of cold feet!

After coming back to the RV park and put our purchases away we relaxed and watched TV.   When we go hungry we called in a pizza order to the RV kitchen.  Sam went to pick it up.  Apparantently Saturday is a busy night - with LOTS of people coming in to stay just for the night! Maybe the fact that there was a Hanted Hayride and Haunted House to go through might have made a difference too.

As soon as the temperature started to drop we closed up the windows to keep in as much heat as possible.  I went to bed early to read but Sam stayed up and watched the Phillies lose a game in the National Leauge Championship.
