Oct. 15, 2010 - Friday

It really got chilly during the night - the news say about 35 degrees.  We bundled up and slept late!

When we pulled off of I-81 yesterday saw a sign for a German restaurant called Edelweiss so we left the RV park in search of food.  To get back to the main highway takes about 15 minutes.  We ate at Edelweiss.  Sam had Jagerschnitzel which he said was good - just not enough of it!  I had Schweneroulade - which is thin sliced pork stuffed with a pickle, a blend of ground pork, herbs and spices and served with a sour cream sauce and Bavarian dumpling.  We both liked the food but thought it was really pricey for what we got.

We then just took a drive - just to see what was around.  Lots of houses but mostly rolling rural hillsides.

Sam made soup for supper and we just relaxed.  The night was chilly again but this time we used the electric heater. It made a big difference!
